The PanHellenic Track & Field Championship for Boys and Girls U-16 took place during the weekend of June 24 and 25, 2017, in Trikala.  Thirty-one students (male and females) from the College took part.  The girls’ team took 1^st place and the boys’ third.  Additionally, they took 1^st place in the overall standing.

New College records were set in the following events:

·      3000m race:  record set by Athens College Junior High School 9^th grade student, Zisi Tziamourta, with a time of 9’18”80 (7^th place).

·      400m sprint:  record set by Athens College Junior High School 9^th grade student Elli-Eftychia Deligianni, with a time of 58”43 (2^nd place qualifying round).

Also, the following students placed in the top three places:

·      Psychico College High School 11^th grader, Georgios-Panagiotis Miliaras, 1^st place in the 1500m race

·      Athens College High School 11^th grader, Emmanouela-Sevasti Karyampa, 1^st place in the 100m sprint

·      Psychico College High School 10^th grader, Ioanna Panopoulou, 1^st place in the 800m race

·      Athens College JHS 9^th graders and HS 11^th graders, Natalia Alipranti, Dorothea Kaltsa, Markella-Kalliopi Papandreou and Emmanouela-Sevasti Karyampa, 1^st place in the 4x100m relay race

·      Junior High School 9^th graders and High School 10^th graders, Anastasia Diamanti, Elli-Eftychia Deligianni, Ioanna Panopoulou, Elisavet Mitropapa, 1^st place in the 4x400m relay race

·      Athens College 9^th grader, Markella-Kalliopi Papandreou, 3^rd place in the 100m sprint
