The Ministry of Education’s Track & Field Championship games for High School students took place on Thursday, March 8, 2018 at the College facilities.  Throwing events took place on March 16^th at the Agios Kosmas Sports Center.  Twenty seven (27) Athens College students and twenty eight (28) Psychico College students participated, placing first  in 17 events, second in 12 events and third in 8 events.

During the games, two new High School records were set by Athens College students: Zisis Tziamourtis in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of  6’29”05 and Elisavet Mitrropapa in the 2000 meter steeplechase with a time of 7’39”20,

Fourteen students from Athens College and twelve from Psychico College qualified for the next round of the Championships.
