The 17^th annual “Athanasiadeia”, Athens College – Psychico College Elementary Schools’ Track & Field Meets in memory of Alexander Athanasiadis, were held on Tuesday, June 5, 2018. During the ceremonial part of the event, all students who participated in the competitions paraded to the accompaniment of the Hellenic Police Band.  After the Raising of the Flag and the National Anthem, Mr. Nikos Tsavliris, Vice President of the Board of Directors of HAEF, declared the opening of the games.

Commemorative plaquettes were awarded to the Athens College – Psychico College Elementary School students who achieved new records during In-House Track & Field competitions, as well as those who broke records during Athanasiadeia 2018.
