PanHellenic Track & Field Championship Boys - Girls U18

The PanHellenic Track & Field Championship for Boys and Girls U-18 took place during the weekend of June 23 – 24, 2018, in Katerini.  Twenty-three boys and girls from the College took part.  The boys’ team took 1st place and the girls team 3rd in the overall standing.

 

New College records were set in the following events:

 

  • 800m Race: record set by Psychico College 11th grade student, Ioanna Panopoulou, with time of 2’09”95 (1st place)
  • 2000m Steeplechase: record set by Athens College 10th grade student, Zisis Tziamourtas, with a time of 6’12”21 (3rd place)

 

Additionally, the following students placed in the top three places:

 

  • 4x400 Relay Race: Junior High School 9th grade and High School 10th & 11th grade girls, Elisavet Mitropapa, Ioanna Panopoulou, Maria-Gemma Matsioti, Elli-Eftychia Deligianni, placed 1st.
  • 4x400 Relay Race: High School 10th & 11th grade boys, Vasileios Kyriakopoulos, Alexandros Kapagiannidis, Konstantinos Gkiokas, Dimos Mpadogiannakis, placed 2nd.
  • 400m Race:Athens College High School 10th grade student, Elli-Eftychia Deligianni, placed 2nd.
  • 100m Race:Athens College Junior High School 7th grade student, Markella-Kalliopi Papandreou, placed 3rd.
