Interpretative Reading Competition: “ The Poetry of Kiki Dimoula”
The Interpretive Reading of Literary Texts Competition, co-organized by Athens College and Psychico College High Schools, was successfully carried out online on Monday, March 8th and Tuesday, March 9th, 2021. The topic of the Competition was “The Poetry of Kiki Dimoula.”
In the first round of the Competition, seventy-six students from twenty-one public and private schools from around Attica delivered the poems that they had selected to a panel of judges comprised of Teacher Advisors from the schools represented in the event. The ten students who achieved the highest scores qualified for the second round of the Competition, in which they interpreted their selections to a panel of judges comprised of Mmes. Kiki Demertzi – Philologist, Theatrologist and former School Advisor, Kora Karvouni – Actress and Drama Coach to Actors, and Chrysa Spyropoulou – Philologist, Author and Educational Project Coordinator.
The three students who distinguished themselves and were awarded prizes are:
Anthi Massia: 1st Prize (Nea Paideia School)
Stamatina Evaggelidi: 2nd Prize (Arsakeio School in Psychico)
Elissavet Kalogiannidou: 3rd Prize (Evangeliki Model High School of Smyrna)
