- Myrto-Vasiliki Alexopoulou, Pavlina Refene and Amalia-Christina Toutziaridi with their team project, titled “Mood Diary: An Application to improve our mood and mental health.”

The competition is co-organized by the U.S. Embassy in Athens and the Greek nonprofit organization SciCo as part of a series of initiatives supported by the U.S. Embassy in Athens to commemorate 200 years of friendship between Greece and the United States of America.  It is being held under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs and aims to highlight and reward 14 to 18 year-old students interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

A panel of judges, comprised of distinguished scientists, will review the projects to determine the winners on Saturday, March 27, 2021 as part of the virtual Athens Science Festival.

On Sunday, March 28, the top teams will be invited to present their projects online to the festival’s audience. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony on Sunday, March 28, 16:00-17:00.

Warm congratulations to our students and abundant wishes for Good Luck in the final assessment!
