Junior High School students meet with Prolepsis Institute online

As part of the MYP Service as Action program, Psychico College Junior High School 9th graders watched a presentation by Dr. A. Veloudaki, General Director of Prolepsis Institute, on “Friendship at All Ages.”  The talk was intended to raise students’ awareness of the loneliness and social isolation experienced by the elderly, especially during the pandemic. She also talked about ways in which these feelings can be addressed.  It is worth noting that PC JHS students had collaborated with Prolepsis Institute earlier this academic year when they created Christmas cards for an elderly care unit.
