Psychico College High School Students Qualify for the STEM STARS GREECE Competition Finals

The following Psychico College High School students qualified for the grand final of the STEM STAR GREECE Competition:

-Maria Eleni Mpatatoudi and Chara Moraitaki, Psychico College 11th grade students. Title of the team project: “Solar Park with 3D Printed Trees: Nature Alongside Technology for a Green Future”

The competition is co-organized by the U.S. Embassy in Athens and the Greek nonprofit organization SciCo, under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Religious Affairs. Its objective is to highlight and reward 14 to 18 year-old students interested in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM).

The grand final will take place on March 27, 2021 as part of the virtual Athens Science Festival. Teams that qualifies will present their projects via an online, live link before a panel of judges comprised of distinguished scientists.

On March 28, 2021, the top teams will be invited to present their projects online to the festival’s audience. The winners will be announced at a special ceremony on Sunday, March 28, 16:00-17:00
