On Tuesday, March 16, 2021 the joint action, “We Paint – We Coexist,” involving Athens College students and Special Olympics athletes began.  Our students and the athletes will paint, collaborate and gather inspiration from the Special Olympics Winter Games 2022.

This action aims to raise the College Community’s awareness of Special Olympics athletes and to promote acceptance of diversity and coexistence, as well as cooperation, acquaintanceship, and understanding of one another.

In the video that follows, members of Psychico College Junior High’s 15-Member Student Council speak about the Special Olympics and the College’s action.  The clip also contains a message sent by a Special Olympics athlete.
