The 4th annual Model United Nations organized by the American College of Greece (ACGMUN) was held online on March 19, 20, and 21, 2021.  This year’s special theme was “Global Unity.”

Athens College Junior High School was represented at the conference by six students who assumed the role of Delegates of the Republic of Finland and the Federal Republic of Ethiopia. The mission’s advisor was Ms. Martha Iliadou, a Philologist at our School. The Committees were constituted as follows:

• Evaggelia Konstantoulaki, "Special Political and Decolonization Committee” (GA4), Delegate of Ethiopia 
• Georgia Papaioannou, "Disarmament and International Security Committee" (GA1), Ambassador of Ethiopia
  
• Andreas Papanastasiou, "Economic and Financial Committee" (GA2), Delegate of Finland

Honorable mention

Andreas Papanastasiou (GA2) stood out for his overall presence and was granted an “Honorable Mention Award” by the “Economic and Financial Committee.”
