Athens College Brings Home Sweepstakes Cup from Panhellenic Forensics Association Tournament
Athens College placed 1st in the overall standing at the 2021 PanHellenic Forensics Association Tournament, bringing home the Sweepstakes Cup. The tournament, which was held online from April 1 through April 4, saw 9 of our students reaching the finals, 3 students earning Honorable Mentions, and 2 placing 1st in the Original Oratory and Group Discussion categories.
Thirty-eight (38) students represented our School, competing in all 6 events of the tournament. Over 300 students from 15 schools from Athens and Thessaloniki took part. In the overall standing, ACS Athens came in 2nd and I.M. Panagiotiopoulos School 3rd.
Both College teams made it to the Debate quarter-finals, while three of our students were selected among the Top 10 Speakers.
