Eye Harp
While working on the Interdisciplinary Unit “People Need to Belong to a Community,” there emerged a necessity for our Pre-Kindergarten students to meet people who are role models of philanthropy and empathy. Therefore, during their music lesson, using Microsoft Teams, our students contacted Dr. Zacharias Vamvakousis (PhD) who designed a software program that enables fellow human beings with mobility issues to play music with the movement of their eyes or head. The students showed that they are open-minded as the aim of the activity was to understand that music is universal to all, and is something that unites every member of a community.
We thank him!
