“Dolphin” Section Explores Airplane Cabins and Airports
As part of the Interdisciplinary Unit “Where We Are in Place and Time,” students in the “Dolphin” section spoke via Microsoft
Teams with one of their classmate’s parents, owner of an aviation academy that
trains pilots. Students practiced their thinking and communication skills as
they asked about the compartments of an aircraft and about areas in an airport.
Using appropriate visual materials, the parent answered the questions posed by
the students about why certain compartments exist in all aircraft, how planes
fly and about the rules that everyone must obey when flying on a plane. Thus,
all the students’ queries were solved.
We thank him!
