Within the context of the Interdisciplinary Unit “Where We Are in Place and Time,” students in the “Dolphin, “Sea Bass,” and “Red Mullet” sections spoke via Microsoft Teams with classmates' parents whose professions are related to shipping. Wishing to learn about the different parts of a ship and the different types of ships, they practiced their thinking and communication skills to ask questions.  Using appropriate visual materials, the parents then answered the children’s questions about what ships transport, the people who work on board, the different types and sizes of ships, how they are constructed, and how they are repaired. Thus, all their curiosity was solved.
