Career Day - University Day 2021 at Athens College

Apr 16, 2021

Every year, our School organizes seminars to provide Athens College and Psychico College high school students with information regarding professions and universities. Well-known professionals and university professors give presentations / lectures to students about the disciplines they serve.

Due to the special circumstances prevailing this year, the lectures / presentations were conducted online. Students were able to access them for one week.  They watched and listened to the ones that interested them and were able to submit their comments and questions online to the speakers.

The twenty-fifth consecutive Career Day, aimed at High School Sophomores and Juniors (10th – 11th graders) and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Year 1 students, was held this year on Wednesday, March 17.  Specialized scientists and executives from businesses and organizations, many of whom are alumni and parents of College students, informed pupils about the nature of their profession, about professional prospects, and about required studies.
