"Dolphin" Section Explores a Factory
As part of the Interdisciplinary Unit “Where We Are in
Place and Time,” students in the “Dolphin” section
spoke via Microsoft Teams with a classmate’s parent who is a
miller. Practicing their thinking and communication skills,
they wanted to learn how wheat is harvested, how flour is created, and about
the spaces that make up a flour mill factory. Using appropriate audio-visual materials, the father
answered the students’ questions about where wheat is stored in the factory,
how flour is transported to bakeries, about the interior of a grain mill, and about
the milling process from wheat to flour.
Thus, he satisfied their curiosity.
We thank him!
