“Starfish” Section Investigates Communities and Professions

As part of their inquiry into the Interdisciplinary Unit “How We Organize Ourselves,” students in the “Starfish” section spoke via Microsoft Teams with parents who explained their professions and the role they play in the community.  In the process, students practiced social and communications skills, wanting the learn more about doctors, chemical engineers, photographers, computer programmers, authors, and architects.  Using appropriate visual materials, the parents then answered the children’s questions about their respective contribution to the community.  We warmly thank them!
