Each year, Microsoft celebrates and honors top-notch technology experts by awarding them the title of “Microsoft Most Valuable Professional.” These are individuals who have demonstrated excellent knowledge and outstanding training in these technologies.

To our great delight, we were informed that Konstantinos Boutsioulis, a member of our School’s Department of Informatics and Telecommunications, received this distinction, the highest an employee outside of Microsoft can receive. He was named Microsoft Most Valuable Professional for the Office Apps & Services category, specializing in SharePoint.  For 2021, Microsoft selected 549 Most Valuable Professionals in this category from around the world.

It is important to mention that Konstantinos Boutsioulis is the only recipient of a distinction in the Office Apps & Services category in Greece.
