As part of the MYP’s Service as Action program, Psychico College Junior High School students in section 3α participated in an action of “ARCHELON,”  the Sea Turtle Protection Society of Greece.  On May 10, 2021, the students had an opportunity to take a digital tour of “ARCHELON’s” site, with Ms. K. Tsikalaki, one of the Society’s teachers, serving as their guide. She spoke to the students about how they “rescue” turtles, the injuries that these creatures have sustained, and the process of nursing them back to health.  Following their virtual acquaintance with the turtles, the students adopted the injured turtle Taygeti!
