Six Athens College Junior High School students qualified to take part in the National Mathematics Olympiad “ARCHIMEDES” following their successful performance in the 81st Panhellenic Mathematics Competition “THALES, held on November 6, 2020 and May 14, 2021.       

The six students who will advance to the next round are:

Junior High School 8th grade:
- Panagiotis Dimakopoulos
- Nikolaos Skevis

Junior High School 9th grade:
- Christos Chatzigakis
- Georgios Mpakoulas
- Dimitrios Toumpezoglou
- Aliki Varela

The competitors’ performance in the next and final round will determine which students will be on the teams that will represent Greece in the Balkan Mathematics Olympiad and the International Mathematics Olympiads.
