We celebrated the graduation of students from the Junior High Schools of Psychico College and Athens College on Wednesday, June 9 and Thursday, June 10 respectively in an atmosphere of great joy.  Following a difficult year, full of challenges, the Directors of the two school units, Ms. Nikoleta Kanelli and Ms. Vasiliki Tla, congratulated the students who successfully reached the end of this stage in their student life and wished them every success in the next.

Dr. Christos Papanikolaou, General Coordinator of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation’s School Units, gave the opening address.

During the ceremonies, video tribute that captured moments from the life of the junior high school students, as well as from Student Community outreach actions, were screened.

The Presidents of the 15-member Student council of each school gave a farewell speech to their classmates.

Teacher-advisors and presidents of the 5-member student councils of each section also had an opportunity to say a few, special words.

Following the speeches, the Assistant and Deputy Directors of the respective school units called out the names of the 3rd year junior high school students who came to the podium to receive their diplomas and souvenirs.
