Event for disseminating goals and everyday life in IB DP

Oct 29, 2021

On Monday, October 11, 2021 Year 1 and Year 2 students of the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme participated in an event planned to disseminate to their fellow students two main parts of their DP life:

i.             Year 1 students: one of the main educational processes of the IB is the development of conscious and deliberate strategies, skills and attitudes that enhance students’ thinking, communication, self-management, research and social skills (known as Approaches to Learning). To that end students worked in groups to design posters showcasing their stance in relation to international global issues, such as climate change, child poverty, access to education for all, global warming, over consumerism, refugee crisis among others.

ii.                Year 2 students: each student created a poster on their Extended Essay topic, a research endeavor undertaken by all Year 2 students as a compulsory component of their Diploma Programme. Students presented their research question, subject and main findings.

Following the event, posters were displayed on the IB DP Building and Benakeion ground floor bulletin boards.
