The PanHellenic Cross Country Championship took place in Pyli in the Trikala regional unit on Sunday, October 31, 2021. Twenty-four (24) Athens College students took part.

The 16 year old and 18 year old boys’ teams as well as the 16 year old girls’ team won first place, and the 18 year old girls’ team won 2nd place.

The first three places were won by:

• 5.000m race by Psychico College 11th grade student Athanassios - Marios Zygouris (2nd place)
• 4.000m race by Athens College 9th grade student Ioannis Bitounis
• 3.000m race by Psychico College 9th grade student Nelly Floutakou

Our students’ teams were accompanied by their teachers - trainers Mr. Giannis Economou, Ms. Maria Protopapa and Coordinator of the Afterschool Competitive Sports Program Mr. Theodore Grammaticopoulos.
