Psychico College Elementary School: Reenactment of the Marathon Race 2021
A reenactment of the Marathon Race took place with great success on the Psychico College Elementary School campus on Wednesday, November 3, 2021. All students and teachers took part in the event, which was organized by the Physical Education Department, with great enthusiasm.
Grade 5 and 6 students took part in the race as runners. Their aim was not to compete, but rather for all the students of each class to get to the finish line together. There were no first, second or third places in this event. Instead, it was all about a team effort for all classes to get to complete the race.
Younger students of Grade 1 were by the start and finish lines, cheering and congratulating the students running the race, awarding them with wreaths made out of paper.
Grades 2, 3 and 4 students contributed as guides for the runners, showing them the way to the finish line. Their enthusiastic applause cheered on the runners in their efforts to complete the race.
The class presidents of Grades 5 and 6 released to the air tens of balloons at the end of the event.
We believe that the collective effort, positive attitude, and the smiles on everyone’s faces were our greatest reward.
Warm congratulations to all!
