On Saturday, November 20, 2021 International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme Visual Arts students visited the Athens Biennale: Eclipse exhibition hosted in three different locations in the center of Athens. The exhibition features artists based in North and South America, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe, many of whom are exhibiting their work in Greece for the first time. The students, led by exhibition guides, had the opportunity to see how Eclipse deals with social, political, and intellectual changes taking place both worldwide and in Athens, and how it creatively approaches issues of identity, history and cultural complexity, all vital themes and goals of the Visual Arts subject.  The visit was organised by Visual Arts teachers Mrs. V. Karvouni and Mrs. M. Papanastasiou.
