On Thursday, November 25, 2021, the annual Thanksgiving celebrations of the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation School Units took place.

With the decoration of “trees of thank you notes”, theater performances, videos and numerous other activities, our students celebrated Thanksgiving, sending in their own special way a message of gratitude, love and solidarity.

As part of the celebrations, the Athens College Fulbright Fellows made a video sharing their own personal memories of Thanksgiving Day in the United States and speaking about the meaning of this holiday.

On Tuesday, November 23, 2021, Athens College President Professor Costas Synolakis ’75 hosted a Thanksgiving dinner for the Fellows. The musical part of the evening included a performance by Interschool Head of the Music Department Mr. Stephanos Tsokakis playing the piano and Grade 7 student Nikolia Garoufalidou playing the violin.
