The Psychico College Junior High School devoted two teaching hours to honor the Greek Jews who were victims of the Holocaust, as part of the International Holocaust Remembrance Day. Students watched two videos: “The Holocaust and the Greek Jews of Thessaloniki” and “The Path to Nazi Genocide”. Assisted by the historical resources, students learned about the Jews and other victims of the Holocaust. They also discussed the importance of the moral issues involved, and drew connections with current social problems, including the abuse of human rights, racism and discrimination.
