As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, How the World Works, with the central idea ‘Force affects the motion of objects and people’, students from the Swordfish, Snapper and Sea Bream kindergarten classes were visited by a researcher in the Department of Physics of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Mr. Pavlos Kazakopoulos. During the visit, students had the opportunity to learn new information regarding forces and how they affect the natural world and, more specifically, about volcanoes.
Students practiced self-management, communication and thinking skills as they managed to learn more about forces of nature.
