Southern Greece Winter Swimming Championship for Children, Adolescents

The Southern Greece Winter Swimming Championship for Children and Adolescents took place in OAKA on February 18-20, 2022. The SAKA Children’s team ranked in the 11th place of the overall rankings.

New best times for the College were achieved in the following races:

  • 100m Freestyle by Psychico College High School 1 student Nikolaos Soutos, with 52”67 (1st place 4x100m Freestyle)

  • 200m Freestlye by Psychico College High School 1 student Nikolaos Soutos, with 1’56”79 (1st place)

  • 4x100m Freestyle by High School 1 students Nikolaos Soutos, Antonis Dimitriadis, Christos Chatzigakis and Konstantinos Brouchotas with 3’41”16 (1st place)

  • 100m Backstroke by Psychico College High School 2 student Natalia Strongyli, with 1’05”65 (1st place)

  • 200m Individual Medley by Psychico College High School 2 student Natalia Strongyli, with 2’24”41 (2nd place)

  • 50m Butterfly by Athens College High School 1 student Angeliki Smyrniou, with 29”08 (4th place)

  • 4x100m Team Medley by High School 1 students Christos Chatzigakis, Antonios Dimitriadis, Konstantinos Brouchoutas, and Nikolaos Soutos, with 4’22”50 (9th place)

  • 4x100m Team Medley by High School 1 and Junior High 3 students Konstantinos Brouchoutas, Christos Chatzigakis, Angeliki Smyrniou, and Ilia Vlachaki, with 4’34”16 (12th place)

  • 4x100m Freestyle by High School 1 and Junior High 3 students Angeliki Smyrniou, Anastasia-Ioli Iliopoulou, Ilia Vlachaki, and Angeliki Karagiannidou with 4’18”15 (12th place)

  • 4x100m Team Medley by High School 1 and Junior High 3 students Ilia Vlachaki, Angeliki Smyrniou, Angeliki Karagiannidou, and Anastasia-Ioli Iliopoulou and with 4’52”76 (14th place)

In addition, the following students ranked in the top three:

  • Nikolaos Soutos, Psychico College High School 1student, in 100m Freestyle, with 52”98 (1st place)

  • Nikolaos Soutos, Psychico College High School 1 student, in 50m Freestyle, with 24”26 (2nd place)

  • Spyridos-Kimon Kalyvas, Psychico College High School 1student, in 4x100m Team Medley, with 4’04”30 (2nd place)

  • Georgios Drougas, Psychico College High School 2 student, in 4x100m Freestyle, with 3’38”89 (2nd place)

  • Strongyli Natalia, Psychico College High School 2 student, in 100m Breaststroke, with 1’15”49 (3rd place)

  • Eleni Archontidi, Athens College Junior High 1 student, in 4x100m Team Medley, with 4’30”52 (3rd place)
