The Clam class makes an inquiry into creativity
Mar 1, 2022
As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary theme, How We Express Ourselves, students from the Clam class was visited by a parent via Microsoft Teams who spoke to students about his family business. Using creativity and with much inspiration, they design the interior spaces of buildings such as, hotels and homes and make custom furniture to fit the needs of their clientele. He presented showpieces from the exhibition in his store. More specifically, he talked to students about color swatches, wallpaper, chairs and a variety of other furniture. Students had the opportunity to ask questions about how architects and engineers design and make the company’s products and, through this process, they practiced social and communication skills.
We warmly thank him for a lovely presentation.
