The final round of the Interpretative Reading Competition 2022 successfully took place on Wednesday, March 9, 2022. The topic was “The Greek Revolution in Poetry”, and it was organized jointly by the Athens College-Psychico College High Schools, in collaboration with the 2nd Directorate of Secondary Education of Athens.  

A total of 65 students from 19 public and private schools in Attica participated in the Competition’s first round. They presented the poems they selected to the judge panel, which included the Teacher Advisors from the participating schools.

Thirteen students with the highest overall scores advanced to the second round of the Competition, where they presented their poems to a judging panel consisting of actor Ms. Nadia Kontogiorgi and Greek Professor Mr. Christos Zafiropoulos.

The following 3 students received awards for their performances:

• 1st Place Award: Mavrou Iro
• 2nd Place Award: Kokkali Christina
• 3rd Place Award: Zervos Haralambos

Junior High and High School students from Athens College and Psychico College accompanied the event with music and melodies inspired by the topic of the competition
