Athens College Elementary School students participated again with enthusiasm this year in the World Read Aloud Day 2022. Their voice - carried via MS TEAMS - travelled all the way to the Psychico Campus. Students from section 3στ got in touch with students in the Elementary School of Thymaina in Ikaria, and students from section 1δ with students from the Elementary School of Rizia in Evros.

Our Schools’ Administration teams, teachers and administrative staff of the Kindergarten, Junior High and High School of Athens College and the IB DP enjoyed listening to the children’s voices reciting excerpts from poems, short stories and fairytales. Meanwhile, at Athens College Elementary, teachers, administrative and technical staff enjoyed the children’s voices in person.

This initiative filled with joy and moved the adults in the audience, while the children themselves felt a deep sense of satisfaction knowing that they were sharing the magical world of literature with the staff of Athens College.
