Athens College High School “March 25th” Oratory Competition Finals
The final round of this year’s “March 25th” Oratory Competition, open to Athens College General High School 11th graders, was held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Filippos Christos was named winner of the “March 25th” Prize for academic year 2021-2022, while Ioanna Vasiliki Tsirogianni came in second place.
The theme of this year’s competition was:
Could resilience, ingenuity and dedication to a higher purpose, as attributes of Geeks in 1821, inspire Greeks today?
Judges of the competition were: Mr. Paschalis M. Kitromilides, Academician, Professor Emeritus of Political Science and Public Administration at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and Director of the Center for Asia Minor Studies, Ms. Eleni Beneki, Head of Historical Archives of the Piraeus Bank Cultural Foundation and Mr. Loukas Christodoulou, President of Nea Ionia Asia Minor Cultural Center (ΚΕ.ΜΙ.ΠΟ.).
