Athens College Howland Oratory Competition Finals
The final round of the Athens College Howland Oratory Competition, open to Grade 12 students (3rd Lykeion), took place on Wednesday, March 29, 2022 at the Choremi Theater. Winner of the Howland Prize for academic year 2021-2022 is Antzelina Samiou.
The theme of this year’s Competition was:
Tradition and innovation as a human compass and inspiration for Athens College for the present and the future.
Judges of the Competition were: Mr. Christos Zafeiropoulos, High School Deputy Director and Coordinator of Ancient and Modern Greek at “Synchroni Paideia” Schools, Mr. Antonis Klapsis, Assistant Professor of Diplomacy and International Organization at the University of Peloponnese, and Mr. Athanasios Taliadouros ’07, Lawyer at Potamitis-Vekris Law Firm and Howland Prize winner.
