Kindergarten visits the TAKIS FOUNDATION-KETE

As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, Where We Are in Place and Time, with the central idea ‘Spaces can be used in creative ways’, kindergarten students visited the TAKIS FOUNDATION- KETE, and took part in an experiential educational program entitled “When Colors Seesaw”. Students had the opportunity to visit a special contemporary exhibition where they learned about the life and artistic work of world-renowned Greek sculptor, Takis. They also became acquainted with mathematical concepts such as numbers, counting, sequencing of colors and shapes, lines etc. At the end of the program, each student participated in creating a work of art.
