As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, Sharing the Planet, with the central idea ‘Living Organisms grow and change’, students from the Clam, Seahorse and Crab pre-kindergarten classes visited the Veggie Farm facilities inside the Tatoi wellness club. Students were given a tour around the farm and inside the greenhouse under the guidance of an agriculturalist. Following their visit to the greenhouse, students planted seeds and learned how to care for them.
Students practiced self-management and research skills.
