Hans Christian Andersen, storyteller and author, was born on April 2. This is the reason why International Children’s Book Day is celebrated on this day every year as it fosters children’s love of reading. The “Charalampos Vellis” kindergarten library once again contributed to celebrating this day by participating in programs aligned with the transdisciplinary themes explored in the classrooms. Individuals whose professions are related to the production of books visited the library, pre-kindergarten students participated in different events and books “came alive” this year as well.
