In his capacity as Professor of Natural Disasters and Chairman of the Special Committee on Climate Change in Greece, Athens College President, Dr. Costas Synolakis ΄75, Academician, took part in the 7th edition of the annual Delphi Economic Forum on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 joining the discussion on the major issue of climate change.

Also taking part in the discussion, titled “Climate Emergency: Vital Signs of the Planet", were Secretary General of the Academy of Athens, Prof. Christos Zerefos, Secretary General of the World Meteorological Organization, Mr. Petteri Taalas, Member of the Nizami Ganjavi International Center, Ms. Maria Fernanda Espinosa, and Prof. Emeritus of Environmental Chemistry at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens Mr. Michael Scoullos. 

The discussion was moderated by British journalist and founder of "Thinking the Unthinkable" Nik Gowing.
