The Athens College Elementary participated in the PanHellenic Schools Competition Bravo Schools 2022, on the 17 Global Sustainable Development Goals. 351 school sections, with 650 entries on applied scenario/innovative projects, student creations and cooperation initiatives, by over 20,229 students were entered in the competition. 32,000 active citizens responded to the students’ messages and participated in the public vote on the submissions.  

Our School and the teachers who participated in the competition received participation awards. The innovative project “An Inquiry into Endangered Animals” (Goal 15) by Mrs. Kafetzopoulou received an honorary award. Our participation in Bravo Schools 2022 places our School in the international schools network of World's Largest Lesson and in the Ambassadors’ School Network for the 17 Global Goals In Action SDGs Schools Club.
