As a member of the Greek National Cheerleading Team, Athens College Junior High School Grade 2 student Maria Ziavra, won the following distinctions: 

• 6th place in the Youth Team Junior at the European Cheerleading Championship held at the Athens Olympic Stadium on 1-3/7/22
• 1st place in the Youth Team Junior Cheer Freestyle Pom at the 6th Panhellenic Cheerleading Championship held at the Athens Olympic Stadium on 25-26/6/22 and qualified for the European Championship that will be held in Italy in 2023 as well as the World Championship that will be held in Orlando USA
