As part of their inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, Who We Are, students in the Starfish class were visited by a classroom mother, who is a doctor, as well as, a mother and a grandmother, who are pharmacists. Students learned about healthy eating and how they can care for their bodies. Students cultivated Social and Communication skills as their questions were answered regarding the importance of a healthy lifestyle.
