As part of the inquiry into the transdisciplinary unit, How We Express Ourselves, with the central idea, “People express themselves through stories”, kindergarten students had the opportunity to meet Mrs. Sia Kosioni and Mr. Pavlos Tsimas and learn about the profession of a journalist. They both read Mrs. Kosioni’s fairy tale, A Different Story, in order to give information about a journalist’s profession from Mrs. Kosioni’s perspective. Following the presentation, students practiced thinking and research skills as they became journalists and interviewed the guest speakers.

At the end, Mrs. Kosioni gave a copy of the fairy tale to each student.
