The St. Catherine's Debate Cup 2022, the first debate tournament for this school year, took place on Saturday, November 12. 57 teams from schools in Athens and Thessaloniki competed in this tournament. Our School was represented with great success by 6 teams.

• The team of Kyriakos Gerogiannis (IB1) and Jake David (IB1) was the Winning Team of the competition!

The following two teams also reached the Open Final:

• Leonidas Marinopoulos (IB1) and Alexia Papageorgiou (ΙΒ1) – who also ranked 1st after the preliminary rounds
• Maximus Papaioannides (ΙΒ1) and Eftychia Christodoulou (ΙΒ2) 

The individual performance of our students was also outstanding, with the following individual Top 10 Speaker rankings: 

• 4th Place: Kyriakos Gerogiannis, Leonidas Marinopoulos, Maximus Papaioannides
• 8th Place: Irene Gritzali (ΙΒ1)
• 9th Place: Eftychia Christodoulou

The younger members of our team also competed with considerable success, with Danae Tatsopoulou (Junior High 3, AC) and Elissavet Tsoli (Junior High 3, AC) reaching the Novice Final of the tournament.
