On Wednesday, February 22 and Wednesday, March 1, 2023, the Hellenic-American Educational Foundation staff attended First Aid training sessions at the College Theater in Psychico and the Latseio Theater in Kantza respectively. The interactive sessions, titled "First Aid in schools", were delivered by Mr. Antonis Makris, Pediatrician and Head of the HAEF Medical Services. 

During the sessions, Dr. Makris outlined the basic rules for providing First Aid and the necessary steps that need to be followed during an emergency within school premises, such as drowning, loss of consciousness, faint, convulsions, diabetes, poisoning/intoxication, cardiac arrest and heart attack. 

Similar interactive sessions were delivered by Dr. Makris to Athens College and Psychico College Junior High and High School students.
