Final Round of Athens College High School’s March 25th Oratory Competition
The final round of this year’s March 25th Oratory Competition, open to Athens College High School 2 students, was held on Monday, March 13, 2023 in the Athens College Theater. Winner of the March 25th Prize for academic year 2022-2023 was Andreas Papanastasiou, while Achilleas Vasileios Koukas came in second place.
The contestants wrote speeches on the following theme:
The contribution of the Hellenic community in the Greek national awakening, and the organization and the outbreak of the Revolution.
Members of the panel of judges were: Dr. Despina Douka, Director of the 2nd High School of Agia Paraskevi, Dr. Stephanos Kavallierakis, Director of the Athens City Museum, and Mr. Charalampos Kirailidis, President of the Greek Private Schools Association and Director of Sixroni Pedia Private School (Εκπαιδευτήρια Σύγχρονη Παιδεία).
