The Board of Trustees of Athens College in Greece announces the following changes in its leadership.

After 31 years as member of the Board of Trustees, including 4 years as Treasurer and 23 years as Chairman, Mr Alexis Michas '76 has stepped down as Chairman and retired from the Board. The Board of Trustees has appointed Mr George Antoniadis as its new Chair. Mr Antoniadis (Athens College Valedictorian '80), joined the Board in 2017 and has been its Treasurer since 2018. He is the founder and CEO of PlaneSense, Inc., one of the largest Aircraft Fractional Ownership companies in the world. Mr Antoniadis holds a Diplom in Electrical Engineering from the Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland and an MBA with Distinction from Harvard Business School.

At the same time, Mr Robert McCabe stepped down as Vice-Chairman and retired from the Board of Trustees, after a total of 52 years as a member of the Board of which 23 as its Vice-Chairman.

Mr Petros Sabatacakis '65 has been appointed as the new Vice-Chair of the Board of Trustees.

Mr Alexandros Poulias '91 has been appointed as the new Treasurer of the Board of Trustees.

The Board of Trustees and the Board of Directors of HAEF take this opportunity to thank Mr Michas and Mr McCabe for their leadership, long service and incalculable contribution to the School.
