Grade 11 student Aris-Marios Stravelakis received a distinction in the 7th International Student Competition “The Battle of the Forts”. Aris-Marios won 2nd place in the Short Film Category with his work “I will do my duty”.

The theme of the Competition was the glorious history of the Battle of the Forts.

The Competition was organized by the Association of Friends of Fort Istibey. Students who participated in the Contest had the opportunity to illustrate that the struggles for freedom and the ideals of the homeland have successful outcomes, even in the face of formidable forces, when there is unity, and solidarity.
