Distinction for Students in the CanSat 2023 – Best Outreach Prize

The CanSat in Greece Competition is a National Space Competition, in which teams compete to design and build a CanSat, a small satellite specially designed to be launched into the atmosphere.
Following an 8-month effort, the Athens College High School SALT (Satellite for Advanced Landing Technologies) team, qualified for the final round of the Competition and won the Best Outreach Prize.
The team is comprised of the following Grade 10 students: O.D. Anagnostakis, S.N. Antoniadis, S.M. Antoniadou, P. Belexi, N.E. Skevis, V. Trikkalidis, G. Chainis, and D. Chrysikos. The supervising teacher is Mr. X. Rafios, Science teacher at Athens College High School.
