On Wednesday, June 7 and Thursday, June 8, kindergarten students participated in a theatrical show which was an adaptation of the story The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse by Charlie Mackesy. Students followed the STEAM Engineering Design Process. First, they asked questions and identified the problem. Then, they imagined what their role in the story would be. They planned the solution to the problem and created a gigantic construction during the show that they eventually improved while presenting it to the audience. The show was the climax of the transdisciplinary unit with the central idea “Inventions help us explore the world”.
