The St Catherine’s Debate Cup 2023 took place on Saturday November 25, 2023, with over 120 Junior High and High School students representing schools from Athens and Thessaloniki. Our School was represented by 12 speakers, with great success!

Congratulations to all our students, and especially to the following students on their great achievements on a team and on an individual level.

Teams: 

Winning Team: Maximus Papaioannides (ΙΒ2) and Artemis Papastavrou (IB1)

Grand Finalists: 

• Manos Alevras (ΙΒ2) and Iakov David (ΙΒ2)
• Kyriakos Gerogiannis (ΙΒ2) and Leonidas Marinopoulos (ΙΒ2)

Semi Finalists: Panagiota Dourida (HS1, PC) and Danae Tatsopoulou (HS1, AC)

Individual:

Best Speaker Award (tie): Manos Alevras, Leonidas Marinopoulos, and Maximus Papaioannides

Top 10 Speakers: Jake David (4th), Kyriakos Gerogiannis (5th),  Artemis Papastavrou (6th), Alexia Papageorgiou (9th, IB2)
